Spring is…springing?

Anyone else confused?? One day its chilly, the next its warm, the next there are gale-force winds, and the next rainy. But, our chickens are getting bigger and ready to go outside in their new run. I find myself wanting to decorate the coop more than my house!

I celebrated my birthday and Easter, and have had a house full of company. What fun to have littles around! Our granddaughters, Margo and Ava came from North Carolina, and Collins from Cedar Rapids. What a joy to have them all together. We have another one on the way in June – a BOY! God is good!

In the midst of this, The Funky Zebras in Bettendorf has been restocked with Porch Light candles, as well as Onion Grove Mercantile in Clarence. Check them out! We also signed a new wholesale with Potpourri Home and Garden in Dubuque. What a fun shop this is! It’s chock full of cute things and a couple of them may or may not be gracing my house (and coop!). Say hi to Julie when you stop in.

This weekend we’re at Newbo City Market in Cedar Rapids. We’ll have…get ready for it…fragrance flights! 3.5 ounces of wonderful smells that can be grouped in 3 or 5 candles/flight. Just like wine or beer flights, but longer-lasting! Each 3.5 ounce candle will burn approximately 15 hours!

May 14th we’ll be at Ivy & Threads Boutique Market in Peosta and the following weekend, May 20-22, we’ll be at Maker’s Market in Williamsburg. This 3-day event is part of the Iowa County Shop Hop.

Have a great day, everyone!
