Brrrrr…!! Its gotten so chilly. I LOVE IT!
We’ve been busy here on the homestead, and Porch Light is gearing up to get even busier! Have you checked out The Homestead Collection? Every fragrance tells the story of some element of our property. It was really fun to create these fragrances and I think you’re going to really like them. They’ve been pretty popular, so don’t hesitate. They won’t be here long before the Homestead Winter Collection hits the site. Also, a free gift is added to each order.
Beginning in October we start “marketing” around the area. October 21-23, we’ll be at the Williamsburg, IA Outlets with the Midwest Makers Market. This is a stop on the Iowa County Shop Hop.
In November and December, we’ll again be at Newbo City Market in Cedar Rapids, IA. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instragram (@porchlightcandlecompany) to know the dates.
And then, (drumroll, please), in February, we’ll be at the Des Moines Home & Garden Show in Des Moines, IA! I am so excited. This is a 4-day event and we’ll be in the “Iowa Made Market” portion of the show.
In other news, we welcomed a new grandson, Sullivan John, in June and in March we welcome another grandson! Love, Love, Love those grandbabies. These boys join Collins, Margo, and Ava to the brood. If you ever visit us at Newbo City Market, you may have met Collins. She loves to help out at Grandma’s “candle store.”
