Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Well, hello there! It’s December 28th, and snow is finally falling!

John and I became grandparents for the third time! We welcomed little Ava Maria in September, and what a joy she is to the family!

We also bought an updated 1920s four-square farmhouse on a couple acres of land. This has been a dream of ours for many years. Today was our first snowfall on the property and it is beautiful! I’m currently setting up the new workshop and will be excited to share it with you all really soon. We hope to one day host visitors to a retail space featuring Iowa-made products, and of course, candles, wax melts, room sprays, and soaps!

2021 was a fantastic year for Porch Light! As always, I participated in some wonderful markets and met many great folks who love quality candles. Newbo City Market in Cedar Rapids is a monthly visit for us, and the Christmas season was really fun there! I also was able to be at the Spoon River Scenic Drive markets in Illinois, Girl’s Get-a-Way weekend at the Millwright Hotel in Amana, and Harvestfest in DeWitt. I love doing markets, meeting so many great people, and revisiting with current customers.

You’ll also find Porch Light Candles in a few shops!
